Responsibilities:
- Perform system administration (Windows and Linux support) such as system health-check, patch management, change management, problem resolution, capacity planning, system performance tuning and system installation/configuration/hardening.
- Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure systems such as VPC, EC2, S3, SES, load balancers, as well as cloud backups, monitoring tools and RDS database applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure system.
- Manage and review costs in cloud systems.
- Develop technical specifications and evaluate technical responses as part of IT procurement.
- Support production system commissioning/upgrades and follow up on vulnerabilities identified during security reviews.
- Conduct annual disaster recovery planning exercise and follow up with DR procedure updates.
Requirements:
- At least 1-2 years of working knowledge in Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure Cloud.
- At least 1-2 year(s) of technical experience in Windows Server 2012 & 2016, Linux OS and Active Directory.
- Working knowledge in areas such as Remote access, VPN, SSH, DNS, SMTP, FTP, Load Balancers, Proxy servers and Content delivery networks.
- Working knowledge in NAS and cloud backup solution.
- Strong security focus on experience with Firewalls, WAF and Server Hardening.
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or Microsoft MCSA, MCSE Azure track certification will be an added advantage.
- Candidate who has worked as Cloud Server Administrator will have an added advantage.
*Candidates with more relevant experience will be considered as Senior Systems Engineer.
