ACCOUNTS AND ADMIN OFFICER

The incumbent will support the Group CFO on the day to day accounting and transaction processing.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist Accountant in Prepare and Maintain Full sets of Accounts, (AR, AP, Bank Ledgers, FA Register, Budget and Projection and etc.) and produce monthly Financial Statement (PL, BS and CF Statement).
  • Assist Accountant in Consolidate, Compile, Maintain, Summarize the Global Reports on Bank Ledger Balance, Debtors,
  • Rent Rolls, Collections, Credit Control and monthly management accounts and yearly audited FS.
  • Reconciliation on Bank Balance, Receivable/Sales Report , Payable / Supplier Report , Accrual , Prepayment , Amortization and Audit Schedules
  • Assist to maintain Bookkeeping on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Journals, General Ledger Function
  • Assist to Review in VAT/ GST Reports from Managing Agents, Service Charge Accounts
  • Coordinating on Government and Corporate Tax Filing, WHT Filing, PIC Filing.
  • Process all payments, inclusive of TT, Checks, Petty Cash and maintaining a proper electronic filing of all documents for internal control review and external audit.
  • Maintain proper accounting records and documentations for audit and ensure compliance and alignment of accounting policies and procedures with the government regulations (filing of financial records)
  • Manage and assist management on day to day office administrative tasks.

Reporting Relationship

Reporting directly to the Accountant and support respective Country Heads, supporting all assignments delegated under the directions of the Group CFO and Management.

Requirements

Professional Certificate or Part Qualified Professional Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent qualifications with at least 1 year or more accounting & office admin field experience.

  •  Skill in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, e.g. Zero, Quick Book, MYOB and etc.
  •  Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  •  Attitude of willing to learn and to take on new challenges
  •  Organized and analytical individual who needs minimal supervision and produces high quality work
  •  Ability to work under pressure and prioritises tasks to meet deadlines
  •  Self-motivated, meticulous and detailed, positive attitude, hardworking and a team player
