Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of staff that handle account reconciliation for Mortgage, Auto and Renovation Loans
  • Perform investigations on any reconciliation break and work with the Line Operations to rectify the imbalance transactions.
  • Perform GLAO reconciliation and KRI reporting.
  • Manage the team effectively to maintain, ensure all reconciliation are done daily and rectification of the imbalance made timely.
  • Facilitate communication within workplace in order for the team to function correctly and promote collaboration within team members and the Line operations
  • Support all management reporting. e.g. MTK, KRI, productivity metric, GLAO and any adhoc survey/reporting
  • Own & manage all staff issues, customer servicing issues and risk & control.
  • Guide & lead the team to accept & adapt to changes.
  • Ensure proper documentation of new process or change of process and proper training done to all staff

Requirement

  • Degree holder in Business and Finance, Business Administration, Operations Management or related disciplines preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in financial institutions (Credit Operations)
  • Experience leading team will be highly desirable for this role
  • Those with Mortgage Loans experience will be an added advantage
  • Good organizational skills with demonstrated ability in managing operations
  • Sound knowledge of consumer banking products/services and respective end-to-end operation workflows for best in class services delivery
  • Knowledge of Process Improvement Toolkit and metrics/measurement
  • Good understanding of operational risks.
  • Meticulous with eye for details
  • Flexibility and ability to multi-task and take on different types of roles and activities at the same time
