We are seeking for a Big Data Engineer/Data Architect to join our dynamic data support team. This candidate will be responsible for various professional fields including big data, data warehousing, and data analytics, supporting the company's petabyte-level data services.
- Maintain overseas data centers, including ensuring database stability and high availability, as well as stabilizing and optimizing the big data infrastructure;
- Responsible for data-driven decision-making for overseas business, including the development and maintenance of real-time and offline metrics, closely collaborating with project teams for decision analysis;
- Select and optimize the infrastructure of data centers, and communicate with third-party vendors;
- Implement data security and privacy measures to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in big data, machine learning, and data engineering, and evaluate their potential impact on our business and technical architecture.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field;
- Strong command of the Linux operating system, with expertise in at least one scripting language such as Shell or Python;
- Advanced proficiency in SQL language, coupled with extensive experience in performance tuning;
- Expertise in mainstream databases including Oracle, MySQL, Redis, and MongoDB;
- Deep familiarity with cloud platforms such as Alibaba Cloud, GCP, and AWS, along with robust troubleshooting skills;
- Comprehensive understanding of mainstream big data technologies like Hadoop, Doirs, Starrocks, and Kafka;
- Proficient in cloud-based big data solutions on platforms such as Alibaba Cloud, GCP, and AWS, with a proven track record in tuning and troubleshooting;
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing big data solutions, including data pipelines, storage systems, and processing frameworks;
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese, to facilitate effective communication with Chinese-speaking counterparts.
