Specific Expectations
New Product/Packaging Development
- Conduct ongoing F&B Trend and competitive analysis to identify new trends for product innovation
- Working with cross functional meeting for creating new product concept & recipes including tweaking the taste profiles of the food products based on market trends and food taste test results
- Project leader for leading the new product development for LTO and permanent menu to support annual Marketing calendar to achieve the set revenue and cost target
- Meeting suppliers for new products development
- Conduct Menu mix analysis to identify low performing menu items. Refine and improve existing menu items when needed.
- In collaboration with SCM/QA, drive the product commercialization to ensure on time, on target launch
- Work closely with operation training team on new SOP set up and new products training.
Product Testing & Quality Control
- Conduct product shelf-life test, quality test & equipment test
- Conduct sensory evaluation, consumer survey of new products to internal & external team
- Administrative duties include create & maintain recipes, cost structure, reports preparation and documentation of all recipes and work processes.
- Conduct ongoing audit of new &/or existing products for continuous improvement
Experience and Education
- Min. Diploma in Food Science/ Food Technology or related field
- 2 year’s minimum relevant working experience, including experience in kitchen/ back of house operations, culinary skill is advantage
- In-depth technical knowledge of food ingredients, process, and packaging as well as HACCP programs
- Able to effectively work cross functionally and adept at managing suppliers/vendors
