Associate Director, Regional HPV Vaccines Marketer, Asia Pacific (AP) -

THE OPPORTUNITY
Our marketing team is innovating how we unlock the needs of our consumers and HCPs in this digital and social media world. Working cross functionally we are inventing new ways of communicating, interacting with our consumers and customers, developing centralised marketing operation models to execute campaigns at scale and at speed.
In this role, you will be supporting the Regional Commercial Leader (RCL) to drive our key growth driver – HPV by producing impactful and unique campaigns for the region and executing these campaigns with the support of our Digital team in all markets. You will work closely with key agencies to develop the consumer driven narrative and support the review and approval system accordingly. The candidate is expected to move with speed and agility to deliver a roadmap for HPV from strategy to execution over a 30-, 60- and 90-day timeline.
This position reports directly to the RCL (Regional Commercial Leader) AP Vaccines, as part of the Commercial and Marketing (CCMO) regional team and the International Commercial Organization (ICO) globally. This position can be based in Singapore or any other market in AP.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Localize, Adapt and Execute the AP HPV Strategy
- Develop the customer strategy aligned to the HPV Masterbrand narrative, inclusive of HCP, HCC, others to support the Adolescent and Adult HPV business for the AP region
- Work closely with the digital, data & social media teams to develop and execute Content Marketing and Customer Insights
- Localize, adapt and execute the AP HPV Masterbrand strategy and enterprise-wide narrative for the HPV Franchise focused on protecting Adolescents and Adults who missed the opportunity from prevention against HPV related cancers and diseases
- Collaborate directly with the regional centralized digital marketing models to ensure alignment with the global HPV Masterbrand content & strategy
- Guide regional agencies on brand narrative and content development and approvals.
- Deliver an “iterative approach mindset” across L3 Listen, Lead, Learn in planning and execution to ensure the regional franchise dynamically responds to market needs.
Partner with the Digital, Market and Agency teams
- Working with the local HPV marketers and the regional cross functional teams in the region, to ensure proper and efficient execution of the centralised campaigns in-market
- Ensure all markets have thorough data-driven solutions and decision making in place, in every part of the L3 journey
- Roll-up the local L3 plans towards common opportunity spaces and brief the prioritised regional opportunity spaces back to the agencies
- Develop brief (marketing objective, persona, triggers/barriers, task map, key messages, mandatories), disease & product attributes to agencies
- Brief to Agency on compliance requirement included training, interaction with government officers by the agency or subcontractor etc.
Campaign development and execution
- Develop monthly campaigns across different opportunity spaces with the Digital & Agency teams
- Get all master content approves in a fast and efficient way by regional and local Medical/Legal
- Create yearly editorial calendar and assign appropriate workstreams, budgets and teams to execute
- Ensure timely and high quality transcreation in each market by working closely with the local marketers and agencies
- Work closely with the DnA teams to track the attribution and impact of our campaigns.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE
We are seeking a collaborative, innovative, and adaptable leader who is capable of getting things done, able to influence peers and leaders, and accustomed to working in a dynamic region and within a matrix structure.
To be successful in this role, you will also have:
- Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) in Marketing, Science, IT, MBA , or equivalent commercial experience and discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience (consumer preferred) with relevant working knowledge delivering effective campaigns to drive positive business results
- Strategic business acumen and knowledge of commercial and marketing approach at the company, understanding and application of company policies, compliance, operations and change management is preferred.
- Capability to communicate and collaborate across business and technical teams, with the empathy and sensitivity for data maturity differences and is able to rally teams to action and outcomes.
- Strong project and people management skills to execute complex initiatives in a matrix structure and the capability to get things done in an ethical and compliant way.
- Deep understanding of Asia Pacific markets. Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Achieving results without direct line authority, energize and motivate a team to follow his/her direction.
- Experience in consumer goods marketing is a plus
