Job Description
- Lead and coordinate engineering team and production team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Lead and perform controlled tests on various feed stock types
- Lead studies on outputs by systems – i.e. quality of syngas and biochar, energy regeneration etc.
- Lead system design and optimization, and compliance with local and international regulations
- Lead and review Hazard and Operability Analysis (HAZOP) and Hazard Identification Study (HAZID) in all system implementations
- Responsible for Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) and operation manuals
- Support system installations and operations as required
- Pioneer R&D efforts
- Support other tasks as directed by the supervisor
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering preferred
- Candidates with 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred
- Knowledge in pyrolysis, syngas and biochar (good to have)
- Good knowledge on simulation using Aspen HYSYS
- Prior experience in equipment manufacturing or boiler production preferred
- Comfortable working in Tuas area
