Summary of the Role and Responsibilities:
As the Director of Nursing, you will be a key member of the C-suite leadership team. You will play a pivotal role in providing strategic leadership and direction to our nursing staff. Your responsibilities encompass overseeing the entirety of the nursing practice, education, professional development and administration. You will serve as the crucial link between the nursing division and other healthcare professionals within the organization, ensuring seamless collaboration and delivery of high-quality patient care.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc Nursing).
- Current registration with the Singapore Nursing Board.
- Postgraduate training in Healthcare Management or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to all nursing staff at the hospital.
- Serve as the primary interface between the nursing division and other healthcare professionals and staff.
- Oversee the management of the nursing practice, education, professional development, evidence-based practice, administration and services.
- Collaborate closely with all medical staff and department heads to maintain high standards of nursing care.
Core Skills and Capabilities:
- Effectively communicate the company's vision, mission, and values to the nursing staff.
- Develop and implement nurse manpower planning, development and retention strategies.
- Ensure clinical policies and procedures are current and adhered to.
- Guide nursing practice based on evidence-based approaches.
- Identify gaps in quality and safety through system scanning and lead initiatives for risk reduction and quality improvement.
- Cultivate professional relationships with healthcare team members.
- Develop nurse competencies and career plans.
- Plan annual nursing budget (Capex and Opex).
- Establish contacts with nursing counterparts locally and internationally.
- Support the development of learning and development programs for the nursing division.
- Participate in relevant internal and external healthcare-related committees, events, and activities.
- Provide direction and support during crisis situations.

Compensation
