Job Description:
TSGS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Writer specialized in crafting comprehensive business plans and financial projections for technology startups and businesses. As a Business Writer focusing on tech business plans and financial projections, you will play a crucial role in articulating our company's vision, strategy, and financial forecasts to investors, stakeholders, and potential partners. You will collaborate closely with our executive team, finance professionals, and subject matter experts to develop detailed and compelling business plans that showcase the value proposition and growth potential of our technology-driven initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities relevant to our technology business.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams on projects
- Work closely with the executive team and key stakeholders to gather information and insights necessary for developing business plans and financial projections.
- Develop detailed business plans that outline our company's mission, vision, target market, unique selling propositions, marketing strategies, sales forecasts, and operational plans.
- Create comprehensive financial projections, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and key financial metrics, to support business planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate with finance professionals to ensure accuracy and feasibility of financial projections, taking into account various assumptions, scenarios, and risk factors.
- Write clear and concise narrative sections for the business plan, including executive summary, market analysis, competitive analysis, product/service descriptions, marketing strategy, operations plan, and financial overview.
- Ensure alignment of the business plan with our overall corporate strategy, goals, and objectives, as well as compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Present business plans and financial projections to investors, lenders, and other stakeholders, and effectively communicate the value proposition and growth potential of our technology initiatives.
- Conduct market research, revise and update business plans and financial projections as needed based on feedback, changes in market conditions, and strategic shifts.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory developments relevant to our business, and integrate relevant insights into business planning and forecasting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in business writing, financial modeling, and business planning, preferably in the technology sector.
- Strong understanding of technology business models, market dynamics, and financial principles.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with advanced skills in software/tools.
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and draw actionable insights.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
