Job responsibilities:
· Identify and pursue prospective markets, trades, and clients
· Fixing own vessels in the market, on voyage charter or time charter
· Procuring vessels for cargo commitments
· Create, negotiate, and execute both single and multiple cargo contracts, including terms and conditions, rates, laytime calculations, and other commercial aspects
· Identify and negotiate spot, short- and long-term period tonnage
· Maintaining and developing market knowledge
· Strictly control risk and exposure
· Review counterpart risk on an ongoing basis
· Visits to industrial clients and brokers

· Strong business acumen
