DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist site management on safety and health related matters
· Implement and maintain company’s site safety management
· Manage and oversee overall daily safety activities on site
· Check and ensure that the sub-contractors and workers are complying to safety procedures and requirements set
· Conduct site safety inspection to ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and health Act and regulations.
· Conduct safety and health trainings and daily toolbox briefing
· Ensure overall compliance of good practice in workplace
· Review and revise of method statement and risk assessment as and when required
· Ensure risk assessment are carried out and controls are implemented for all site activities
· Preparation and submission of safety and health reports and other related documents
· Coordinate safety and health activities and project site
· Liaise with client and authorities on all safety and health matters
· Ensure that all safety and health documentations are maintained and readily available upon request
· Lead or assist in incident / workplace investigations and corrective action recommendations
· Any other duties assigned by superior from time to time
Requirements
· WSQ: Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B) or equivalent as required under WSH regulations
· Managing Work-At-Height Course or equivalent (Work at Height for Assessor)
· Occupational First Aid
· BizSAFE Level 2: Risk Management
· Processes other safety certificates is an additional advantage
