Position Summary:
We are in the search for a passionate team player who shares our vision to deliver amazing and delightful customer experience for our global customers to join us. We take pride be a team that is known as a key market differentiator for World Kinect Aviation.
This role provides not only customer service to our customers, the successful applicant needs to also provide sales and operational support for our global customer database. We operate in a dynamic environment that sees a workday filled with telephone calls, responding to emails, keeping up to speed with issues in different global regions and liaising with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrange fuel for customers worldwide (scheduled and ad-hoc flights), key in PO’s and forward to appropriate airport contacts or suppliers
- Co-ordinate with Credit Control Department to ensure customers do not exceed their credit limits
- Update formula database with correct information and post pricing onto the system
- Respond to and expedite incoming pricing requests for ad-hoc fueling
- Facilitate customer requests for fuel carnets and issue them upon approval
- Actively promote complimentary products and services
Background & Skills:
- Candidate with likely in excess of 2 years’ work experience, preferably within the aviation/ call center/ tourism industry
- Fresh diploma/degree graduates from the Aviation field
- A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, strong customer service skills, and the ability to build relationships
- Great attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn
- Effective and professional telephone manner, commercial awareness and sound business judgment
- Ability to anticipate issues, work well under pressure and to priorities effectively
- Ability to deal with the unexpected situation, show initiative and work alone at times if required
- Proficient in MS Excel and Outlook
- Experience in Oracle systems
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
