An exciting opportunity awaits as we seek an experienced and dynamic ICT executive to join our team on secondment to Ministry of Education (MOE) schools. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in integrating cutting-edge educational technologies into the learning environment, fostering innovation, and ensuring that both educators and students are well-equipped to thrive in the digital age.
(Please note that we are only hiring Singaporeans and PRs because our ICT Executive will be deployed into MOE School environments.)
When you come on board, you will be expected to perform:
Managing ICT Systems
- Personalised Digital Learning Programme (PDLP) Device Management Application (DMA) Portal
- Assets and Inventory Management System
- eAnnouncement Broadcasting System
Performing Daily Checks and Implementation
- Provide technical support to staff and students for iPad personal learning device (PLD)
- Liaise with iPad PLD vendor for repair or replacement of students’ iPad
- Liaise with DMA vendor for any technical support for students’ DMA
- Monthly or Ad-Hoc Wall-to-wall inventory checks
- Assist HOD ICT in MOE-initiated rollouts and projects
- Ensure classroom AV and IT equipment are in working order for daily teaching and learning
- Assist Desktop Engineers (DE) in handling Schools SOE troubleshooting issues
- Assist HOD ICT in procurement of ICT Equipment and Services
- Gather information and feedback from staff on ICT needs and requirements.
- Propose solutions to the need to replace or upgrade ICT Equipment
- Propose specifications for invitation to quote on Gebiz (with the help of the administrative manager (AM) and HOD / ICT in accordance with School Procurement Guidelines)
- Meeting up with vendors for clarification
- Maintain proper documentation of the various ICT purchases and loans to staff and students
Maintenance of ICT Facilities and Equipment
- Work with DEs on all issues related to ICT facilities, such as Computer Laboratories and IT Rooms
- Work with DEs on preparation of ICT facilities and equipment for Laboratories, IT Rooms, PCs, teachers’ notebooks, visualizers, projectors, etc
- Work with DEs on all issues related to ICT equipment in the school
- Regular checks on the log-in-out Files in Open Access Computer Labs, Monitoring the Usage of ICT facilities and equipment
- Liaise with external contractors to maintain AV/IT equipment
Administrative Matters
- To advise teachers and students on the use of ICT for projects and presentations.
- To coordinate and assist teachers in the conduct of the AV activities (providing AV support).
- To assist in maintaining and updating the school website, PDLP microsite and FHBL Dashboard
- To advise teachers on software solutions which will solve their problems
- To be involved in the integration of ICT into curriculum, instruction and assessment.
- Deploy booked iOS devices to classrooms.
- Maintain the booking of resources on an online portal.
- Design of PDLP posters and newsletters.
Miscellaneous
- To provide additional support to school for important events such as video recording, photography, and AV support
- To provide support for school’s presentation during major events
- To assist in distribution and setting up of ICT equipment
- To provide services for school functions on computer-related matter
