Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI) is looking for a candidate to join them as Research Associate who can help with data collection and analyses, and the writing of the manuscript of a research project on AI and digital advertising.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in research activities including conceptualization and planning of research projects
Lead/assist in data gathering (including focus group discussions and surveys) and analysis for relevant projects using qualitative and quantitative methods.
Actively contribute to data analyses and the writing of academic research manuscript
Lead the writing of reports
Undertake any additional administrative duties as required by the supervisor
Job Requirements:
Master’s degree in Communication Studies, Psychology or related field in the social sciences
Applicants with 1 or more years of work experience in social sciences research will be preferred. However, fresh post-graduates are welcome to apply.
Demonstrable intellectual excellence and capacity to work with others independently
Good project management skills, with multi-tasking ability
Academic writing skills
Experience with social scientific research (e.g., focus group discussions, interviews, online surveys, data analysis using SPSS)
