Established in 1981, the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) https://www.ntu.edu.sg/eee is one of the founding Schools of the Nanyang Technological University. Built on a culture of excellence, the School is renowned for its high academic standards and research. It is one of the largest EEE schools in the world, with more than 120 faculty members and an enrolment of more than 4,000, of which about 1,000 are graduate students.
We invite applications for the position of Manager. The incumbent shall drive operational excellence across multiple business units in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Relationship and Manpower Management
Build an employee-centric workplace culture for all staff
Manage employee engagement programs and drive culture integration.
Develop a framework and create interactive job aides to guide employees in the effective solicitation of workplace services
Analyze and propose procedures/ practices to manage various School manpower processes
Identify necessary learning and development opportunities and provide administrative support
Organize skill development programs for the growth of the employees.
Process and Operation Optimization
Identify opportunities for improvement, developing and implementing solutions together with School Management and business unit leaders.
Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies.
Streamline operations within a project process, maximize resource use and improving overall output.
Stay up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
Records Data Management
Work closely with the relevant offices to oversee and manage data protection compliance in the School.
Acquire data from primary and secondary sources and maintain a sustainable record management system.
Curate data and provide periodic statistics reports according to University and School’s needs.
Any other ad-hoc initiatives and assignments undertaken by the Office.
Requirements:
At least a Bachelor qualification with at least 8 years of relevant experience in a tertiary institution.
Past experiences/ IT skillset to automate and modernize systems will be preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent project, time management and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated experience in data collection and analytics.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective interpersonal relationships at all levels.
Proven working experience in project management and ability to work under tight deadlines.
