The Nanyang Technological University NTI-NTU Corporate Laboratory is seeking to hire a Senior Research Fellow. The selected candidate will innovate in semiconductor packaging, focusing on metallization and wafer packaging.
Key Responsibilities:
Optimize plasma-enhanced metallization, vacuum coating processes, and leading R&D efforts in material science for device performance enhancement.
Drive the development and implementation of advanced metallization techniques.
Propose relevant vacuum coating solutions, conducting plasma simulations to refine processes.
Oversee the transition from experimental designs to scalable solutions.
Additionally, the role requires preparation and delivery of comprehensive reports to satisfy the stipulations of funding entities and corporate mandates.
Job Requirements:
Ph.D. in a relevant engineering or science discipline is required.
At least ten years of specialized post-doctoral experience.
Expertise in plasma simulations (ANSYS, COMSOL) and a strong track record of research publications and successful grant applications are essential.
