StriveX is partnering with a fast growing banking client who is looking to expand their Investment Banking department. The Bank's investment banking predominantly revolves around structured financing in key sectors such as Acquisition, Real Estate, and Infrastructure. They are looking to hire an Associate to join them and this person will contribute to areas including but not limited to credit review, reporting, research and system operations.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in credit review and approval processes
- Prepare and submit reports to Head Office.
- Learn and manage the operational aspects of systems used within the Investment Banking department
- Support post-management activities following transaction closures
- Assist in the preparation and signing of financial documents
- Facilitate the initial drawdown and disbursement processes
Key Requirements
- Ideally 3-5 years of relevant experience in banking or related financial services industry
- Due to the nature of clientele based overseas and the requirement to communicate with them regularly, candidates with language proficiency in Korean are preferred
- Ability to generate organized reports and analyze financial statements
- Basic understanding of banking products and associated risks
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Familiarity with term sheets and financing documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel financial modeling
