Job Description
- Administer, operate, and monitor operating systems (OS), databases (DB), and hardware across all servers on a daily basis.
- Manage user accounts and privileges within the Active Directory (AD) domain environment.
- Perform daily administration tasks for AD, Domain Name System (DNS), and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) systems.
- Handle daily administration of the email system, including managing user accounts and groups.
- Conduct periodic backups of relevant systems and data, and validate backup media regularly.
- Review OS security baselines periodically and ensure proper configuration of servers.
- Collaborate with the network engineer to perform periodic vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and OS patching.
- Assist in the installation of new PCs and maintain desktop environment security, including system patching, antivirus management, drive encryption, user access control, and data loss prevention (DLP) measures.
- Contribute to IT planning and coordinate with vendors for hardware/software procurement, product services, and project implementation.
- Fulfill any other duties as directed by the Head of Fintech.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a system administrator.
- Proficient in administering Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange Server, and SQL Server.
- Experience in providing daily support for Microsoft Windows 10 and configuring Group Policy Objects (GPO).
- Knowledgeable in managing Active Directory, server hardware, and software-related technologies (e.g., RAID systems, backups, SAN, etc.).
- Familiarity with VMware ESX and Hyper-V administration.
- MCSA certification is required.
- Demonstrates a positive working attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
