Student Care Teacher - Beauty World
Subject: English language, Chinese language, Math & Science subject
Salary: $1800-$2400
Working Days & Hours: 5 days | Mon-Fri: 11am to 7pm (School days), 8am-7pm (School holidays)
Supplemental pay types: Overtime pay
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons, incorporating a variety of teaching strategies and resources.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes language development, numerical fluency, and scientific inquiry.
- Assess students' abilities and progress, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
- Use effective teaching methods to support students in their learning journey, providing individualized attention and guidance as needed.
- Organize and facilitate activities and experiments that foster a love for learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans that align with the MOE syllabus or other relevant curricula.
- Maintain a safe and conducive learning environment, ensuring students' well-being and adhering to safety protocols.
- Establish effective communication and rapport with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a strong partnership in supporting students' educational journey.
- Contribute to the overall growth and development of the student care program by participating in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
- Co-ordinate with other teachers in the centre in planning daily activities including fetching of students from nearby school.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, English language, Mathematics, Science, Chinese language subject or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching young children in a student care or educational setting.
- Familiarity with the MOE syllabus for English language, Math, Science or Chinese language subject or other relevant curricula.
