Responsibilities

  • Set up, document and maintain proper accounting system, process and reconciliation to administration system for computation, payment and accounting of agency compensation and benefits
  • Set up, document and maintain proper accounting and internal controls for all collections and payments
  • Preparation and review of monthly reconciliation of balance sheet schedules and ensure that outstanding items are investigated and resolved
  • Review payment, invoice, journal and consolidated income statement for agents
  • Responsible for monthly commission and expenses closing
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staffs
  • Handle commission related enquiries
  • Liaise with head/regional office on monthly inter-company billing
  • Liaise with others department on event costing
  • In-charge of Anaplan submission
  • In-charge of office management related expenses
  • In-charge of monitoring office renovation costs
  • Carry out any project or assignment as directed by management

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience
  • At least 5 years of accounting and auditing experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial position, preferably relevant experience in an insurance intermediary
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and excellent analytical skills
  • Self-starter and team player with a high level of initiative, strong work ethic and the ability to gather, synthesize, organize and report information
  • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a demanding and deadline-oriented environment
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications
