The Safety Consultant is responsible for coordinating processes and organisational structure in the Asia-Pacific region (hub) in accordance with a set of requirements from HQ. This person is also required to carry out risk assessments on machinery, designing safety concepts and safety solutions. Working on validation and verification tasks. This person will also conduct paid training courses at and for our customers (primarily machine safety, but also product-oriented) and internal employees. Collaboration with local standardisation committees. Ensure overview (4-eyes principle) of safety projects and status of project fulfilment.
This requires interaction with diverse groups of colleagues from different countries. The person should define the project scope; collaborate with engineering, sales and support to ensure smooth project implementation and customer satisfaction goals are met.
- Provide machine safety technical support and assist with project management. This may include “proof of concept” solutions or detailed application profiles.
- Implementation of paid consulting services such as risk assessments, designing safety concepts and safety solutions as well verification and validation (e. g., safety inspections)
- Close cooperation with the Asia sales organisation, consulting team and engineering team in the regional hubs and HQ consulting team.
- Preparation of the technical reports corresponding to the task
- Preparation of service reports
- Deliver internal and external training courses
- Coach new employees in the Safety consulting team
- Standardization and association work
