Job Description
- Must be above 21 years old (Due to liquor and Tobacco)
- Working hours 10am to 7pm or 1pm to 10pm, inclusive of 1 hr break. The working hours may be adjusted based on the operational hours of the outlet.
- Comfortable to converse with customers about purchase of Liquor and Tobacco within the Lotte outlet
- Guide customers in the use of the self-checkout POS system
- Assist to perform transaction on behalf of customers, if required
- Assist to pack products into STEB bag for customers who purchase in the departure outlet
- Basic troubleshooting of system
- Assist in performing physical switchover of checkout system during cutover to non-operational hours, if required.
Job Requirement
- The duration of the contract: 6 months contract with option to extend additional 6 months
- The proposed salary rate: $12/hr
- Information about the work schedule: 5 days per week, rotated between 2 shifts. The 5 days include Sat, Sun and public holiday
- The preferred attire for the position: Polo-Tee, pants and covered shoes.
- Any specific requirements or qualifications necessary for this role: Comfortable with technology, preferably someone who has worked in retail and has experience in performing cashiering duties. Can minimally converse in English. Must be above 21 years old as the candidate will need to handle alcohol and possibly tobacco products. Must be willing to stand and be on the shopfloor for extended periods of time.
