Enterprise IT (EIT) is an essential component of the current IT division that provides support to the Pharmaceutical Research, Supply Chain, Marketing organizations as well as Enabling Functions. The EIT SAP Platform Team is responsible for our Company’s SAP Global Template asset, delivering enterprise-level capabilities through harmonized business processes and data. The team is responsible for the operation of all our Company SAP and integrated solutions, governance of the associated enterprise assets, and cost-effective delivery of capabilities to support achievement of immediate and future state business objectives.
Software Engineer is a key role within the GSM/WS Value team. This individual will be closely working with Technical lead and responsible for configuring, coding and developing new solutions or enhancing existing solutions in Direct and Indirect Procurement, Supplier Performance and Analytics and Supplier Risk and Vendor management areas.
Primary Responsibilities
· Design and shape our Accounts Payable solution globally, in line with the GSM/WS Value Team
· Manage and oversee the Sap configuration for Accounts Payable
· Ability to collaborate with other COMET and Non COMET Business Areas, Tax, Compliance, Finance, GSMG etc.
· Hold accountability for delivery on assigned IT Accounts Payable projects approved by our organization, including scope, timelines and budget
· Engage and manage outsourced vendors relationships in your area
· Interact and manage expectations of senior business users and stakeholders
· Ensure that AP team is delivering in accordance to regulatory commitments, sustainability requirements and highest standards of quality
· Coordinate and work closely with other work streams and Application Maintenance Services leads
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in large, complex IT development projects
- Strong understanding of Global Sourcing, Procurement, and Accounts Payable processes.
- Proficient level of experience and knowledge of SAP Ariba Sourcing and Contract Management, SAP ECC Accounts Payable, SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing, Supplier lifecycle and performance and SAP Fieldglass
- Good working experience in application design, development and configuration of SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing, SAP accounts payable and e-Invoicing solutions.
- Exposure to SAP Master Data Management and Cross functional integration with ERP and 3rd Party systems and applications.
- Experience on documenting functional and technical specifications.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient with Agile Methodology, tools and DevSecOps approaches.
- Certification in SAP Ariba, SAP MM
- 5+ years experiences executing configuration changes and managing development of SAP products.
