Responsibilities:
- Able to carry out day to day operations with minimal supervision
- Follow up and give necessary guidelines or instructions to subordinates/sub-contractors to ensure safety, job progress and quality
- Inspect, check and ensure work done by subordinates/sub-contractors are according to the method statement and internal instructions
- Assist supervisor to plan for equipment and manpower required and schedule day to day sequence of works. Review with supervisor from time to time for the planning and progressing of works and to solve any problems experienced on site
- Maintain good housekeeping and safe working environment
- Assist site engineers in implementing project requirements, monitor compliance to standards and specifications, site preparation works, field testing works and site investigate works.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 15 years of experience in a Foreman and Junior Engineer role in foundation works with main contractors
- Familiar with LTA projects
- Knowledge of construction techniques, equipment and materials
- Good leadership skills and able to work independently
