Overview:
As part of the People and Data Science team, we are seeking a driven and dynamic individual to join our team as a Junior People Scientist. This role is pivotal in supporting our mission toleverage data-driven insights to enhance our product and optimize our people strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of analytical prowess, initiative, and adaptability to thrive in our fast-paced startup environment. The Junior People Scientist will be able to work with many different types of stakeholders and hence growth opportunities are immense if embraced. The employee will get exposure to:
1. Work closely with the Sales team on aligning how the product (especially data-related
ones) will benefit prospects
2. Collaborate with the Customer Success team on ensuring that data insights needed by
clients are accurate and meet their needs
3. Join hands with the Product team to define how data insights should be delivered to
clients in meaningful ways that serve business objectives
4. Liaise with the Engineering team to ensure data accuracy and to gather appropriate data
especially for any custom analyses
5. (Optional) Support the Head of People and Data Science to write thought leadership
articles that can support Marketing efforts for EngageRocket

• Understanding of HR/Organizational Psychology:
- Possess foundational knowledge of HR principles or organizational psychology concepts.

• Python Proficiency (Highly desirable):
- Possess knowledge of Python for data manipulation and analysis.
- Commit to learning Python by the end of probation if not already proficient, as it is a key skill for the role.
• Writing Skills (Desirable):
- Showcase strong written communication skills.
- Support in crafting thought leadership articles in collaboration with senior team members.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, or related field. Domain expertise in Data Science can be considered.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
