About the role

Reporting to the APAC Finance Director, the Senior Financial Analyst will be working closely with a cross-functional team in providing key analytics to support data-driven decision making. You will act as principal analyst for target setting, financial models, budgets, and forecasts for new initiatives, keeping a rolling forecast and ensuring alignment and adherence to regional and global long-term priorities.


What you'll do

  • Analyse key operational and financial metrics on a timely basis to facilitate data-driven decision making, proactively stress-testing plans for multiple scenarios. Provide regular updates on key metrics and risks and opportunities to business and management
  • Lead coordination, consolidation, and analysis of weekly regional Gross Margin, with focus on insights for action
  • Develop expertise on the end-to-end flow of information from trading system to financial, from actuals to reporting and planning systems to be able develop analytical models to influence the business
  • Partner with market and global stakeholders to create annual budget and forecasts to deliver business objectives, competitive landscape, long-term strategic goals, and key metric thresholds
  • Carry out studies and ad hoc business performance analysis and summary notes according to business priorities and leadership requests
  • Anticipate needs from the team and identify opportunities to create value and streamline processes and systems. Partner with Group FP&A Team to drive process standardization and system improvement projects
  • Provide senior leaders leverage in decision making by assisting with information gathering, being a connector between different parties, monitoring plans, keeping track of responsibilities, and so on

Who you are:

  • Degree in Business, Finance, or related field and at least 8 years’ experience in business analysis and controlling
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment with a proven track record for delivering results on cross-functional initiatives
  • Hands-on, resourceful, go-getter attitude, curious and ready to dive deep into the business
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced business environment and complex organization
  • Track record of dealing with ambiguity and complexity, thinking creatively and getting up to speed and adding immediate value to new situations
