Job Description (Overview):
We are looking for a Business Development Executive with an entrepreneurial spirit and a knack for driving business growth. The ideal candidate excels in consultative selling, is adept at identifying and securing new customer relationships, and has a proven track record in managing and scaling high-profile event projects. As part of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in expanding our footprint in the events and MICE industry, leveraging our cutting-edge event technology platform to meet the diverse needs of businesses, corporate entities, educational institutions, associations, and government agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible to acquire new accounts in the assigned territory and market segment.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve the healthy pipeline and sales target.
- Engage in consultative selling by understanding the unique needs of potential clients and positioning EventNook's solutions as key to their event success.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, including negotiating contracts and terms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within target markets to ensure long-term partnerships.Help clients achieve event success through consultative selling.
- Collaborate with the client success team to ensure a seamless transition post-sale and to support the successful implementation of event solutions.
- Provide insightful feedback from clients to the product development team to help shape future product enhancements.
- Represent EventNook at industry events and conferences to promote our brand and solutions.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
Background Experience / Requirements:
- Sales experience, preferably in event management, IT, Techology or SaaS.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in cloud-based solutions and SaaS platforms.
- 3+ years in business development and consultative sales preferred.
- A bachelor's in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
