Job Title: Director – Korean Seafood and Sashimi Restaurant

About Us: We are a premier Korean seafood and sashimi restaurant committed to delivering an authentic dining experience to our customers. With a focus on quality ingredients and traditional Korean culinary techniques, we aim to elevate the standard of Korean cuisine. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director to lead our team.

Position Overview: As the Director of our Korean seafood and sashimi restaurant, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of our operations. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, service, and customer satisfaction while driving business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of culinary and service professionals to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives, including revenue targets, cost control, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to food safetyand hygiene standards, as well as compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Korean suppliers in Singapore and Korea to source high-quality seafood and ingredients.
  • Effectively communicate with Korean-speaking suppliers, customers, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations and resolve any issues.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and initiatives to attract Korean customers and expand our customer base.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Oversee financial management, budgeting, and forecasting to optimize profitability and resource allocation.
  • Uphold the restaurant's brand reputation and uphold its commitment to authenticity and excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience (minimum 10 years) in a senior leadership role within the Korean seafood and sashimi restaurant industry.
  • Fluent in Korean and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
  • Strong understanding of Korean cuisine, particularly seafood and sashimi, and a passion for delivering authentic dining experiences.
  • Proven track record of successful leadership, team management, and operational excellence.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and team members.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute business plans to drive growth and profitability.
  • Detail-oriented and results-driven with a focus on delivering exceptional quality and service.
