Assistant Warehouse Manager (Third-Party Warehousing)

Role Description:

This is a full-time role for an Assistant Warehouse Manager with a strong focus on both business development and warehouse operations to join our team. This role requires a versatile individual who can effectively manage warehouse activities while also identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive growth and expansion in our logistics services.

This is a Sales position and not an operation-only position.

Business Development (80%)

1. Lead a team to prepare tender documents and respond to RFQ.
2. Acquire new business accounts from the general pool of RFQ/tender.
3. Manage & coach a team of executives to conduct sales & optimization projects.
4. Able to answer for allocated P&L and as such bring in new customer accounts.
5. Have your own channel for bringing in new customers.

Warehouse Operations (20%)

1. Lead, drive, and in charge of warehouse operations, meeting customer requirements and achieving agreed key performance indicators.
2. Review warehouse processes for optimization and lead Management of Change
3. Plan warehouse storage layout to achieve optimization

Requirements:

1. Diploma / Degree holders in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred
2. More than 3 years managing a warehouse in a third-party logistics company
3. Good communication skills and customer-oriented
4. Able to multi-tasked and meet timeline
5. Must have at least 2 years of sales/business development experience
