Job description:
- Conduct intake assessments and lead reviews for daycare and rehabilitation clients, including overseeing multi-disciplinary meetings.
- Manage daily operations such as meals, client activities, and staff cleaning duties, ensuring a smooth routine.
- Collaborate with nursing and care staff to meet client needs, focusing on activities of daily living (ADLs), and communicate effectively with the team.
- Plan and coordinate programs and services with internal and external stakeholders.
- Direct new staff orientation, training, and monitor ongoing care provision, especially for clients with dementia.
- Oversee daily management, staff deployment for safe and effective operations, and handle incidents promptly.
- Work with centralized teams for accurate billing and staff matters, and with the Cluster Lead for financial sustainability.
- Ensure accurate documentation and follow up on communications, assessments, and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Recognized degree in a healthcare discipline, eg. nursing or allied health.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in clinical area such as acute or community hospital,
- Preferably at least 2 yrs in leadership position.
- Good knowledge of the health care environment and service processes is important.
