Role: Process Engineer
Responsibilities
- Understand manufacturing processes, analysing and planning process workflows, and recipe design.
- Business Process Mapping to draft process recipes required for Manufacturing Systems and Process Control System.
- Create process documentation such as Process URS, Functional Specifications and operating instructions to ensure consistency and quality.
- Contribute in planning and execution of projects from process capabilities point of view.
- Identify and implement improvements to reduce production costs, increase efficiencies, improve sustainability, and maximise profitability.
- Understand manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate improvisation in production processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
- Designing testing methods (RA, Risk based approach, Quality by design etc) with respect to process capabilities and help in project execution.
- Qualification of equipment in the field of pharmaceutical production
- Consideration of various functions and guideline conformities according to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)
- Validation and optimization of manufacturing processes by defining Test plan, Test methods, Qualification documents (OQ/PQ).
Requirements
- Proven relevant experience of 3-4 years as a Process Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of process engineering software systems (MES, DCS, Historian, PLC Systems).
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing process (API, Bio)
- Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of current Industry trends, GxMP, health and safety regulations.
