Position: Operations Executive (Shipping/Documentation)

Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of shipping operations and import/export documentation within the palm oil industry.
- Coordinate shipments with suppliers, buyers, brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery.
- Expertly handle full sets of shipping documents, including negotiations with banks on letters of credit and DP terms, with a deep understanding of PORAM standards.
- Serve as the main point of contact for our organization, fostering strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Conduct credit risk analysis for customers and identify areas for operational improvement.
- Ensure comprehensive marine cargo insurance coverage and manage shipping claims and demurrage.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in bulk, breakbulk, and containerized shipments, preferably within the palm oil industry.
- Proficiency in UCP (Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Strong planning skills and a collaborative team player.
