Location: West, Dover (Nursing Home)
Main Responsibilities
- Support and assist the nurses in the delivery of nursing care in the wards and helps to maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for them.
- Execute ADL tasks eg feeding, showering, transferring, pottering of residents in the ward.
- Take on responsibility of ward safety and cleanliness in wards.
- Assist in therapy and Social activities.
- Support Volunteers coming to do activities with residents.
- Perform simple assessments of resident’s well being and clinical status (vital signs measurements) under supervision of Nurses and MSW/ Care coordinators.
- Help Care coordinators to manage the residents’ activity calendar.
- Attend to needs of the residents.
- Accompany residents for their outing trips.
Main Requirements
- Certificate in basic nursing care is advantageous.
- Preferred shift can be given, subject to discussion upon offer.
