As a Regional Sales Manager you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implement an effective action plan for Broadcaster (Content Takers) and small to medium federations (Content Owners) in Asia.
- Detect new customers, leads and markets
- Identify potential decision makers within the client organization and build relationships
- Negotiate sales with high level management in customers’ organization
- Participate in pricing the solution/service with support of the presales department
- Working with the marketing and product development teams to develop and manage an up-to-date understanding of the Broadcaster, Sports Federation and Sports Agency ecosystem using the information to consider the implications for existing and new customers
- Undertake first level research to understand the business and project drivers of the industry, customers and potential opportunities.
- Be able to take the lead and ensure a robust client relationships management strategy/delivery.
- Engage with sectors and customers to anticipate potential business opportunities and implement actions that will position the organization with differentiated advantage.
Requirements:
- Between 5 – 10 years of experience in financial and commercial acumen.
- Strong understanding of the Broadcast Live Sports Ecosystem
- Has demonstrated understanding of company's business model and products’ portfolio.
- Prepares sales forecasts and budgets, reviews, monitors sales performance periodically, and refines sales strategies as required in discussion within the Head of Sales.
- Has demonstrated general leadership ability.
- Acts in a consultancy capacity with other departments.
- Works closely with marketing counterparts and creates collaborative environment for enhancing sales growth globally.
- Provides Project support across the organization.
- May coach other team members on the technical aspects of ’organization's product and services, sales techniques specific to this market segment, procedures and standards that will help them achieve the company’s sales objectives.
