JOB SUMMARY:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the completion of specific assigned projects while ensuring they are executed on time, within budget, and within scope. As a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in initiating, planning, executing, and closing projects, while also ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Plan, organize, and direct the completion of assigned projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and scope.
· Collaborate with the Senior Project Manager, Engineering Manager, and various discipline Engineers to develop efficient project methods and meet project timelines.
· Interact with clients to understand their needs and requirements, translating them into actionable project plans.
· Identify and implement risk management strategies, including the development of contingency plans.
· Manage project budget, resource allocation, and monthly progress reporting.
· Hold regular meetings to track project progress and ensure compliance with time and budget restrictions.
· Conduct cost negotiations and manage subcontractors to achieve desired deliverables.
· Monitor overall progress, resource utilization, and initiate corrective actions as needed.
· Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and management.
· Provide direction and support to the project team, motivating them to achieve project objectives.
· Respond to client complaints, concerns, or requests throughout the project, ensuring client satisfaction and managing escalations.
· Generate innovative solutions to improve service quality, efficiency, safety, and environmental standards.
· Ensure compliance with health, safety, contractual, and legal requirements throughout the project.
· Maintain project database and backup data as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Chemical), (Mechanical) or equivalent.
· Minimum 15 years’ experience in constructions projects, preferably in the water industry.
· Experience in superstructure and skids pre-fabrication & installation
· Construction Safety Course for Project Manager certification (in Singapore) is required.
· Excellent analytical thinking, interpersonal/communication skills and problems solving capacities.
· Applicants must be willing to travel as and when required.
