OBJECTIVES
This position is responsible to run and manage routine finance operations and provide support to Loewe’s financial/business planning preparation and reporting in SEA, primarily focusing on the markets in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and emerging smaller markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial and Operational
- Prepare and assist in the budgets & forecasts process from initial framing to presentation to the Regional Office
- Analyze monthly and weekly sales variance analysis - highlight trends, risks, opportunities
- Review and report Brands’ operational controls but not limited to expenses for key stakeholders to navigate Brands’ performance.
- Review invoices and petty cash claims to ensure accuracy in allocation to respective cost centers and accounts code.
- Prepare month-end accruals, review OPEX, and report on the variances on a monthly basis.
- Work closely with the regional finance team to optimize all balance sheets items, especially cash & working capital.
- Review monthly stock reconciliation with accounting and local supply chain team.
- Review monthly reconciliation of warehouse stocks between system and warehouse WMS stock report.
- Support through data gathering to monitor inventory level and propose clearance solutions or inventory allocations.
Internal Control & Compliance
- Assist to plan and execute with bi-annual stock take and reporting needs.
- Review and control of store expenses by regularly pricing out competitive suppliers.
- Monitor internal control to ensure compliance with all corporate governance requirements.
- Relay all company guidelines to store management regarding how to operate their business to keep within the rules and regulations.
- Ensure proper procedures are adhered to with regards to cash, credit card (payment) processing, and store petty cash and sales float management.
Retail Operations
- Support the organization and planning of clearance events.
Projects
- Participate, lead or manage ad-hoc projects which include but not limited to: Boutique operations handbook matters, liaise with internal (including retail audit) and external audits, wholesale to retail, multi country management, POS implementation.
- Require occasional travelling.
PROFILE
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Regional exposure will be an added advantage.
- Bachelor’s Degree in accountancy or business-related field
- Chartered Accountant or ACCA will be added advantage
- Ability to work in matrix and diverse environment
- Excellent analytical and organization skills, curiosity and logical mindset

- Proficient in Microsoft AX will be added advantage
- Proficient in POS systems (Cegid) will be added advantage
- Experience in retail, wholesale or luxury fashion will be added advantage
