You will take part in the management of product qualification events, through participation in Product Development Team meetings (PDT) with global cross-functional teams, define qualification approaches and prescribe qualification plans through risk assessments made from insights from the PDT meetings. In this role you will work with various Engineering and Quality Reliability Assurance Groups to provide technical support, expertise, consultation and training. You should expect to support customers both internal and external to Micron on an on-going basis.
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Manage Micron Managed NAND products during the Product Qualification stage.
- Take part in Product Development Team (PDT) meetings.
- Ensure Managed NAND Product Qualification timelines are on track.
- Finding solutions and resolutions for problems encountered during Qualification, through reject failure analysis, problem solving and pursuing the necessary corrective action/preventive actions.
- Lead discussions with various Engineering and Quality Reliability Assurance Groups to provide innovative solutions to issues encountered during the qualification process.
- Manage and coordinate various inputs from various stakeholders in Quality Reliability; collaborating with discrete product component and package quality and reliability team for Qual plans, Product Qual Notices and Customer Reports.
- Provide general product quality and reliability expertise, to provide consultation for qualifications, audits, RMA, and customer issues.
Requirements
- Preferably candidates should have experience in Semiconductor, Flash memory and DRAM products quality and reliability
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office, JIRA, Confluence
- Basic understanding in statistics and engineering reliability assessments
