Role Detail
We are seeking a Practice Assistant to join our friendly Singapore team to support a set of Partners and other Lawyers from our Banking & Finance and M&A practice groups. This position is ideal for a proactive junior who can thrive and develop alongside the responsibilities of the role.
Daily tasks will vary but involve managing legal documents, fostering client relations, handling financial administration, organizing files, managing diaries, coordinating travel, and providing general administrative support. Additionally, there is an opportunity for engaging in demi-paralegal work.
About You
- Minimum of 1 year in a legal support role (such as Legal Assistant, Practice Assistant, Legal Executive or Legal Secretary)
- Strong verbal and written skills - English essential, and Mandarin highly regarded
- Sound knowledge of the monthly billing process in a legal environment - experience with Elite highly regarded
- Advanced knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to analyse, problem solve and apply appropriate use of judgement
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, choosing an appropriate style for your audience
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
