Job Title: Engineer/ Sales Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and industries for our products/services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to understand their needs and requirements.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop customised solutions and proposals that address client challenges and objectives.
- Provide technical expertise and support throughout the sales process, including product demonstrations, presentations, and consultations.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure that client needs are met and solutions are delivered effectively.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, technologies, and competitive offerings to inform sales strategies and positioning.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and other documentation as required.
Qualifications:
- Polytechnic diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in technical sales and/or engineering roles, preferably in HVAC & Refrigeration.
- Strong understanding of mechanical or electrical systems and technologies, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and objectives.
- Highly organized with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, presentations, and industry events.
