Job Responsibilities :
As an E-Commerce Product Manager specializing in the pre-purchase phase, you will play a key role in shaping the customer's journey leading up to the point of purchase. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that enhance the overall user experience, drive customer engagement, and increase conversion rates during the pre-purchase phase.
Responsibilities:
- User Journey Optimization:Analyze and optimize the user journey from initial site visit to product consideration.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create compelling and intuitive interfaces that encourage exploration and engagement.
- Product Discovery and Navigation:Define and implement features that enhance product discovery and navigation.
Work closely with the UX/UI team to ensure an intuitive and seamless browsing experience.
- Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):Implement CRO strategies to increase conversion rates at various stages of the pre-purchase funnel.
Conduct A/B testing and analyze data to identify and implement optimizations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with marketing, merchandizer and store operation teams to align product initiatives with promotional campaigns.
Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across the pre-purchase touchpoints.
- Analytics and Reporting:Establish and monitor key metrics related to pre-purchase engagement and conversion.
Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders, identifying areas for improvement.
- Product Development:Define product requirements, specifications, and features.
Work closely with development teams to prioritize and manage the product backlog.
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure product quality and functionality.
- Compliance and Security:Ensure that the E-Commerce platform complies with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Work with the IT and security teams to implement and maintain secure online transactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Pre-Requisites :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.
- At least 5 years of working experience in product development and in the ecommerce field
- Proven experience specifically focused on pre-purchase strategies within E-Commerce.
- Strong understanding of user behavior, market trends, and industry best practices.
- Experience with analytics tools and A/B testing methodologies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with E-Commerce platforms
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies specific to pre-purchase engagement.
- Experience with customer segmentation and personalization strategies.
