ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
In collaboration and alignment with Corporate Engineering, Construction/Project Management, Procurement:
• Involve in project to ensure smooth flow of project materials by coordinating with individual disciplines/Vendors/suppliers and contractors.
• Daily update the material status of Purchased items in Material Status Report.
• To utilize the surplus materials prior raising any Purchase Request.
• To evaluate MTO from Engineering and construction team to ensure all information is aligned and captured.
• Familiar with project material specifications (Latest Revision)/ requirements such as approved vendor list (AVL), country of restrictions if any etc.
• If any specific requirements based on client specification & highlighted on the purchase requisitions to avoid any discrepancies.
• Receive and book goods in to correct locations in an accurate and timely manner, liaising with intercompany/vendor/contractor and planning teams for any discrepancies or quality issues.
• Maintain knowledge of products and processes involved in the day-to-day delivery/issuance of items.
• Support and suggest the effective management of inward & outward flow of inventory.
• You will be required to ensure that good housekeeping and health and safety regulations are adhered to within the work area.
• Ensures materials and equipment have necessary certification.
• Ensures stores / warehouse / yard that space is allocated for goods on arrival.
• Chases up suppliers to ensure goods and materials are delivered on time to meet the needs of the project.
• Prepares reports on materials receipt and delivery and on supplier performance.
• Acts as a focal point for suppliers and internal departments for questions about materials scheduling, problems, etc.
• Actively participates in and promotes company health and safety campaigns, policies and procedures, and ensures personal safety and that of colleagues at all times.
• Reports any breaches of safety procedures to supervision / management.
• Ensure HSE requirements are all in place at all time and ensure compliance to HSE regulations and requirements.
• Ensure Material verification against MDR, MIL Cert, etc.
• Attend daily toolbox meeting in time.
• Participating on weekly HSE safety briefing and delivering talk
• Conduct audits, creating audits finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventive actions.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED:
• Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma/Professional Degree, any field.
• Proficient in MS Office
• Meticulous, Highly organized, and positive attitude.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably with oil and gas or wastewater project experience.
• Ability to build strong working relationships.
• Knowledgeable in reading, understanding engineering drawings and specification requirements.
• Must be physically fit as job entails work.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
• Carry out other duties as may be assigned from time to time by your Supervisor.
