Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers and developers to understand project requirements and translate them into intuitive, functional user interfaces.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and UI mockups to effectively communicate design ideas.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Optimize user interfaces for performance, scalability, and accessibility.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX design and front-end development.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and coherence across digital products.
- Actively participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and sprint planning meetings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years of experience as a UX Developer, UI Designer, or similar role.
- Good knowledge of new/ latest design trend and able to gauge suitability to the organisation’s business.
- Strong Visual Designing skill with a good portfolio that demonstrates experience in creating user-centric and visually appealing design solutions.
- Strong analytical skill and experience in UX work for systems of similar size and scope.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to articulate design solutions to various audiences.
- Experience with creating user interfaces (e.g. web designs, mobile applications) will be advantageous.
- Understanding of front-end development /web development technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap and Responsive Web Design will be advantageous.
