The selected candidate will be the key person responsible for driving business growth and deliver effective solutions by collaborating with other segment, building and maintaining good relationship with institutional clients, fostering innovation and creating value for institutional clients.
Principal Accountabilities
- To be accountable for initiating and executing new business opportunities in growing markets, such as low-touch clients and bespoke requests from clients, and actively involved in new initiatives and special projects related new product developments.
- To be accountable as the main person representing Institutional Sales working alongside all other segments within Investment Management (IM) pillars.
- To optimize processes across the region, including funding requirements and cost optimization related matters, establishment of formal process flows for efficiency, and credit limit requirements during rebalancing exercises.
- To support the development and execution of institutional business strategies which are aligned with organizational strategies and coordinating the rollout of institutional business initiatives.
- To nurture relationships and networking with existing and potential institutional clients.
- To assist in developing low-touch clients, and low-touch services and products to effectively support the low-touch institutional business.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Qualification in relevant fields i.e. Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Marketing or equivalent with 5 - 10 years of relevant experience in Institutional sales serving both local and foreign institutions.
- Excellent networking within Industry and Corporates
- Analytical and sales driven
- Interest in equity markets, particularly for the ASEAN market
- Experienced and skilled in business re-engineering
