Job Description:

As a Centre Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the center, ensuring the provision of quality care and services to clients. Your role involves supervising staff, coordinating programs and services, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to meet the needs of clients effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Care:

  • Perform intake assessments and reviews of day care clients, including overseeing Multi-Disciplinary Meetings for client reviews.
  • Supervise daily routines such as meal preparation, serving of meals, preparing clients for activities, conducting activities, and cleaning duties of care staff.
  • Work with the center nurse and care staff to ensure clients' specific needs, including Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), are met and communicated effectively.

Program Coordination:

  • Coordinate and plan programs and services in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Direct, guide, and participate in the orientation and training of new staff, providing ongoing training and monitoring of care staff in providing care to day care clients and clients with dementia.

Operations Management:

  • Take charge of daily operations and care provisions for clients, supervising and deploying staff to ensure the safe and effective operation of the center.
  • Handle incidents in the center related to staff, clients, and volunteers, ensuring resolution, reporting, and follow-up.
  • Work with the Centralized Team to ensure accurate billing and charges for clients and follow up on staff-related matters.
  • Collaborate with the Cluster Lead to ensure the financial sustainability of the center.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of communications, assessments, and processes.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Carry out other responsibilities and duties as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

  • Recognized degree in a healthcare discipline, such as nursing or allied health.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical area such as acute or community hospital, with preferably at least 2 years in a leadership position.
  • Good knowledge of the healthcare environment and service processes.
  • Experience in community care provision is an added advantage.
  • Integrity, highly motivated, a team leader, and able to maintain good interpersonal relationships, collaborating with various partners in the healthcare system.
