Our client is a Europe MNC, one of the leading players in the Freight Forwarding sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Logistics and Operations Executive to be part of their Operations team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West - easily assessible.
The Logistics and Operations Executive's responsibles are:
- Coordinate with subcontractors for urgent, direct loading, and special project shipments on a daily basis.
- Conduct physical checks on import and export cargoes to ensure they are in good condition.
- Verify documents and match them with physical cargo before release.
- Monitor shipment processes through in-house systems, ensuring accurate re-weighting and measurements.
- Check labels for accuracy and liaise with internal departments and customer service to address discrepancies.
- Execute physical tasks like picking, sorting, packing, labeling, and loading/unloading containers.
- Conduct equipment inspections daily and report any unsafe incidents.
- Manage inventory, perform valuable cargo clearance, and handle urgent shipments.
- Familiarity with in-house systems, document retrieval, and cross-departmental support.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and adhere to safety rules.
- Report suspicious activities immediately.
Job Requirements:
- Min 2 years of warehouse operations experience
- Familiar with WMS and inventory management
- Possess Forklift license is an added advantage
