Job Scope
- Digital Ledger Technology (“DLT”) has the potential to revolutionize the financial industry and become a critical component in the landscape. .
- Looking for an individual who has proven experience in blockchain, and digital assets & currencies use cases, proof-of-concepts (POC), product management and deep understanding on regulatory / market developments in the digital assets and currency space. The individual enjoys learning about technologies and concepts, and has the ability to communicate pros & cons of new technologies and models in contrast with traditional models, and identify areas that has most potential to augment our existing offerings and processes
- The individual to have the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with Technology, Operations, Business Segments, Marketing, Clients, Partners, reaching across functional lines to find solutions from concept-to-completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute and execute the Group’s strategy, roadmap and operating plan for digital assets and currencies
- Participate and drive industry engagement and discussions on innovation topics
- Research and develop potential use cases and opportunities (leveraging on, but not limited to, blockchain technology, tokens, coins, purpose coins and other digital assets)
- Run POCs, prototypes and pilots to maintain portfolio of innovation concepts in line with strategy
- Join client meetings to discuss co-creation opportunities for use cases.
- Research and engage with potential partners to discuss collaboration opportunities
- Establish delivery mechanism to bring innovations to life that will provide learnings
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive the delivery and commercialization
- Monitor the fast evolving landscape and lead internal education efforts on innovation topics, approach and learnings
- Develop and maintain a strong network within the industry
- Focus on the people side of change, which involves preparing, supporting and equipping people to adopt the technology into their course of work
Job Requirements
- Degree in business or related field, MBA preferred.
- 8 to 15 years of experience in strategic planning and change management
- Strong knowledge of Banking, Blockchain and Digital Assets including its practices, competitive landscape and typical problems that it faces and willingness to keep abreast of advancements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market developments to identify challenges and opportunities
- Demonstrate strong strategic, analytical, critical and creative thinking skills and problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills; Attention to detail with strong research capabilities
- Active listening, excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with people of diverse disciplines
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills. Ability to develop convincing proposals for senior management decision making
- Excellent abilities in leadership, logic, innovation, collaboration and confidence giving others direction
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of company information
- Strong drive to remain focused, self-motivated and committed to completing or achieving tasks.
