Primary Job Function
· Evolve and maintain process and procedures; define standards for costing/quoting and validate potential cost estimation relationships (CERs)
· Advise managers and other decision makers on the impacts of various courses of action
· Work with the Team to support the Position to Win engagements
· Employ the theories, principles and practices of cost analysis in support of the development of cost estimates that include data collection, data normalization, data analysis, risk analysis and sensitivity analysis
· Collect and organize information from technical or other subject matter experts, technical documentation, historical cost records, or open source data to identify relationships, trends, and patterns in, or draw conclusions from that information
· Use statistical analysis or simulations to analyze information and develop practical solutions to business problems
· Management, training, assessment of Team personnel
· Other duties as assigned
Potential Candidates should have the following experiences and traits
- Demonstrate organizational and time management skills and able to multi-task several tasks/projects
- Must understand costing/principles and recognisez opportunities for business improvement
- Able to analyise financial results, key performance indicators including orders visibility, pricing scenrios, margin capture rate analytics and product/segment profitability and product mix within with the Plants and the Business Division to drive operational and financial performance
- Have working knowledge of costing techniques, complexity factors and yearly long-term contractual requirements for firm-fixed pricing, costing relationships ( CERs)
- Have experiences in face to face negotiations with customers
- Able to effectively present findings to senior management in a clear and concise manner
- Proven problem-solving, leadership and interpersonal skills
- Prove team players and achievement oriented
- Creative thinker with capability to think out of the box
- Advanced Excel Knowledge
