Night Auditor
You will support the daily guest service operations and ensure that the accounting operations in our Serviced Residence run smoothly at night. You will also create a pleasant and lasting atmosphere that enables residents’ satisfaction and provide a sense of home away from home. You will report directly to the Manager or Assistant Manager, Guest Service.
Responsibilities
You will:
- Assist residents with check-in and check-out procedures
- Make and confirm reservations
- Respond to all queries through walk-ins, emails, calls and assist with requests.
- Handle cash floats throughout your night shift and ensure all floats are balanced at the end of each shift
- Verify revenue from all sources and follow up on any discrepancies in reports
- Account for all financial transactions at the front desk accurately during your shift
- Handle end-of-day bookkeeping, auditing and account reconciliation
- Handle and record residents’ complaints, feedback and perform the appropriate service recovery.
- Perform end-of-day procedures and produce daily reports
- Perform related tasks as assigned
Job Requirements
You have:
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience preferably in the hospitality industry
- Attained at least a Higher NITEC or NITEC in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or an equivalent qualification
- Serviced-oriented, attentive to details and observant
- Knowledge of night audit processes
- Passion in learning a variety of tasks
- Willingness to perform permanent night shifts
