The Job Descreption:
• Report to contract manager and liaise with site manager/engineer on quantity and pricing issue
• Responsible for quantity take off and cost estimation of civil and building projects
• Office-based but will go on site visits to keep track of the progression of the project with regards to quantity and variation claims
• Preparation of quotation submission and follow up with tender clarifications and interview
• Preparation and resolution of progress claims, variation orders and final accounts
• Liaise with Client on all contractual issues especially in measurement and VO verification
• Handle other assigned duties or related job as required
The Job Requirements:
• Good communication and negotiation skills are needed for discussion with stakeholders
• Candidate should possess at least Diploma in Quantity Survey or equivalent.
• At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in QS and construction related fields.
• Knowledge in civil structure specifications and construction contract conditions.
• Preferably have local construction experiences in rebar measurement.
• Skill in MS office, preferably with basic knowledge of AUTOCAD software
• Independent and attentive, and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
