- Location: Jurong Island - Transport Provided: Jurong East/Lakeside MRT
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage departmental budget allocation and staffing levels.
- Ensure adherence to workplace safety and health standards within the department.
- Take charge of reducing and closing Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).
- Ensure departmental compliance with Company's Management Systems (MS), policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and regulatory standards.
- Maintain smooth and efficient production operations.
- Take responsibility for staff development and training to enhance competency levels.
- Supervise and manage departmental budget utilization and staffing levels.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in the chemical manufacturing industry, including a minimum of 5 years in a comparable position.
- Experience in managing or involvement in ISO certification procedures.
- Proficiency in chemical plant management with a robust skill set.
- Understanding of Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) regulations.
